The section for Ecology, Ethology and Evolution (EEE)

The Section for Ecology, Ethology and Evolution (EEE) comprises research groups with an international approach, working on ecological, behavioural and evolutionary issues across a broad range of animal and plant model systems. Research spans from basic, curiosity-driven research aimed to improve our understanding of nature, to research and development with a direct relevance to management and conservation. Studies of ecological and behavioural processes are unified in an evolutionary framework.

The research groups of the EEE Section have wide networks of international contacts and collaborations, and aim to produce science of high international standards. The section aims for a close integration of science and teaching, emphasizing the integration of students at all levels into dynamic research environments.
