Teaching
The Unit for Gastroenterology is responsible for the following courses:
Microarray Technology MOL8003/8004 (professor Arne Sandvik ), Automation and Instrumation MOL3008 (professor Liv Thommesen ) and Important Methods in Functional Genomics MOL3007 (professors Astrid Lægreid and Liv Thommesen ).
Members of the Unit take part in teaching within these courses:
Medicine for Non-Medical Students MFEL1010, Molecular Biology for Technologists MOL4010,Molecular Cell Biology BI3016 and Introduction for Molecular Medicine MOL3000.
Services offered through the Unit for Gastroenterology:
The Unit administers the NTNU node of The Norwegian Microarray Consortium, and offers gene expression analyses in microarray format using a variety of technologies (please see http://www.microarray.ntnu.no ).
