Programme Boards

The Faculty of Medicine has established programme boards for all its bachelor's, master's and PhD programmes. The members of the programme boards include professors, administrators, students and external representatives, and they usually meet once or twice per semester. The boards are chaired by a programme coordinator.

Bachelor's and Master's Programmes

The duty of the programme board is to stimulate the academic and pedagogic development of the programme of study and the included courses, and developing the bachelor's/master's degree into a solid and comprehensive education programme. The programme board should work to attract highly qualified applicants to the programme of study and to ensure that the education provides the necessary competence for the labour market and greater society - today and in the future.
