Research on women’s experiences with mammography screening, user involvement in mental health care, the cooperation reform, and voluntary work with elders.

Marit Solbjør is PhD in sociology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. Her research is in health sociology. Solbjør has published a number of articles on women’s experiences with mammography screening. She has also done research on user involvement in mental health care, the cooperation reform in Norway, and voluntary work with vulnerable elders. She is working as associate professor at Department of social work and health sciences, NTNU, where she is teaching health sociology and qualitative methods at master and PhD levels.
