Background and activities
Rikke Stoud Platou is a ph.d student at the Norwegian Research School in Innovation (NORSI) at the Department for industrial economics and technology management (IØT). At NORSI she follows Program in Innovation Management and Strategy. Rikke holds a MSc in Industrial economics and technology management from NTNU. Her research interest is how the Norwegian electric power industry adapts to the considerable changes it is currently facing.
Her ph.d project is theoretically anchored in strategic management and innovation management. More specifically, she studies technological shifts, ambidexterity, future orientation and strategic decision-making in incumbent companies.
