Indoor environment comprises indoor climate and its impact on human health and well-being, both in private housing and in working environment.
Thermal comfort and air quality, design guidance, construction and operation of buildings and air conditioning plants are important issues, along with design, construction and operation of HVAC systems and integration of buildings and air conditioning plants.
Further, residential hygiene and sanitation is an important area. This comprises influence on systems, methods and behaviour to reduce the base loads which are not acceptable to persons, food etc.
