MR imaging and spectroscopy

In vivo MRI and MRS of small animals - what can we do?

A wide variety of diseases and biological interventions can be studied using MRI and MRS. We have extencive experience in several of these. Here, we will show some examples of what that can be done using MRI and MRS on small animals.

Structural/anatomical imaging

Manganese-enhanced MRI (MEMRI)

Cell tracking using ironoxide particles

Cardiac imaging

In vivo spectrocopy

MR-senteret

FUGE Molecular Imaging Center is located at the MR center at St. Olavs Hospital in Trondheim, Norway. It is a part of Department of Circulation and Medical Imaging at the Faculty of Medicine at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
