Norway has a long history and strong tradition in aluminium and aluminium research, including a strong aluminium industry. Next to oil and gas, fish and aluminium are the largest export industries in Norway. Moreover, the Norwegian light metals industry, together with NTNU and SINTEF constitute one of the largest clusters on light metals R&D in the world.
The ICAA conference is organized every second year and is the leading international conference where academic and industrial researchers, scientists and engineers meet to present and discuss.
