Research at the Unit for Translational Cancer Research encompasses translational cancer research within urology, hematology, oncology and palliative care.

Our goal is a better patient- and cancer treatment

We study cancer in blood-forming organs, solid cancers and cancer-related symptoms. The unit works closely with the urological section, the hematological section and the Cancer Clinic at St. Olavs hospital.

Our overall goal is to improve patient care through increased understanding of the underlying mechanisms of cancer development, cancer-related symptoms and intervention studies.
