Information for visiting/exchange students
The Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering is happy to receive exchange students from abroad for one or two semesters.
Most courses given by our faculty are open for all students accepted by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
We offer a wide range courses covering Communication networks and networked services, Computer science and Informatics, Electronics, Electric power and Energy and environmental engineering, Engineering cybernetics, and Mathematics.
Normal language of instruction is Norwegian, but many courses at second degree level (master's level) are given in English. Exams can be provided in English, and textbooks are often available in English.
Applications from students that want to do their master's thesis, project or a specialization course, will be considered on an individual basis. Only one specialization course is possible.
Please note that most courses are given once a year, either autum or spring semester.
Courses at PhD level are normally not open for exchange students.
