After your studies
The departments and the faculty feel it is important for research to be carried out in contact with industry, administrative bodies and within an international network of contacts. We therefore hope that those who obtain employment outside NTNU will maintain their own personal contacts with the university once their studies are completed.
A significant number of qualified doctoral students take their knowledge and results out to established industries or set up new companies themselves. Doctoral programmes with 3-4 years scholarship are one of the best financial arrangements for young people who want to develop their own ideas into companies with a solid scientific basis.
NTNU Technology Transfer Office may help you to go commercial with your ideas and research.
