About the Department

The Department of Neuroscience consists of approximately 160 employees, consisting of academic and technical/administrative staff. The Department includes a wide range of scientific disciplines that provide unique opportunities in interdisciplinary research. The department includes 5 units and 3 centres:

The Neuro Centre Unit comprises Neurology, Neurosurgery, Clinical Neurophysiology, Physical Medicine, Eye Research, Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Unit for Stroke and Geriatrics includes Research Group in Geriatrics and Stroke medicine

 

Unit for Psychiatry and Behavioural Medicine


 

Unit for Orthopaedics and Rheumatology

Neuroscience Laboratories includes
Neurobiological Laboratory, The Metabolic Neuroscience Group and Cellular Toxicology
