Movement-related disorders

We conduct research into the causes and characteristics of movement disorders, and interventions to improve mobility following various diseases and medical conditions.

The group consists of the following medical specialities: Movement Sciences, Geriatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine – stroke, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Rheumatology.

The research into movement-related disorders at INM is in association with the motion analysis laboratories where movement and gait patterns can be analysed in detail.
