Department of Neuroscience

Teaching medical students is an important task for the Department of Neuroscience. Our staff teaches subjects such as stroke/geriatrics; neurology/clinical neurophysiology; otolaryngology (head and neck surgery)/oral surgery; eye; adult psychiatry; orthopaedics; rheumatology, neurosurgery/physical medicine; health informatics; and fundamental laboratory subjects.

The Department of Neuroscience also hosts NTNU's international interdisciplinary master programme in neuroscience. In addition the department offers individual subjects at bachelor, master and Ph.D. level.

Within further education, the Department offers an experience-based master programme in health informatics as well as the individual courses "Referral to specialist for manual therapists" and "Research course in psychiatry".
