Metrology Laboratory

In the metrology laboratory enables the dimensioning of mechanical components with high precision. We can measure length, circularity, flatness, and other things that can be imprtant in how components function. Applications? Things one might measure in this lab include the diameter turbine casing for a jet engine, or the paddle-wheel in the rotor of a hydroelectric power plant, in order to verify that the developing engineer's intensions have been met.

The most important machine in the lab is the high precision coordinate measuring machine, located in a strictly temperature regulated room.
