Studies at the Department of Social Work and Health Science
The Department of Social Work and Health Science offers master and PhD programmes in Health Science and Social Work, as well as a master programme in Disability Studies.
In Social Work we have subjects concerning children and family, deviance and social problems, health and social politics, gender and health, tacit knowledge, immigration and integration etc.
In Health Science we offer subjects concerning theory of health science, medical technology and health, medical sociology and suicide prevention.
In Disability Studies we offer subjects concerning disability, politics and everyday life, inclusion/exclusion, circumstances etc.
All programmes include compulsory courses in research design, methodology, philosophy of science and ethics.
