Department of Public Health and General Practice
The Department of Public Health and General Practice is involved in education and research within general practice, community medicine with social medicine, epidemiology and medical statistics, women's health, medical conduct and medical history.
The institute cooperates extensively with the Nord Trøndelag Health Study (HUNT), which is the main supplier of research data for the research groups.
The institute aims to be a national centre and strategic resource for studies in epidemiology.
