Research

NTNU ViLL provides research about adults in a lifelong learning perspective. The centre´s vision is to acquire, manage and mediate knowledge on the factors that prevent or promote quality in adult learning. At NTNU ViLL we want to highlight knowledge about the quality and learning dividends in organized learning processes. In this context ViLL focus on conditions that promote learning in a wide range of industries and sectors and are parts of a lifelong learning process.

At NTNU ViLL, we are working with research partners on an interdisciplinary basis. We are always keen to get in touch with researchers with an interest for lifelong learning. Two key aspects are studies on how knowledge and competence can be translated into action and thus initiate change, and studies on which factors prevent or promote the quality of learning.
