CEBRA – Centre for Early Brain Development
The CEBRA research group studies early brain development with emphasis on diagnosis, prevention and treatment of early brain injuries as well as the long term neurodevelopmental consequences and clinical outcomes of such injuries. Early brain injuries are caused by insults to the brain before or during birth or in the first month after birth.
The research is organised into four main topics with some overlap:
- Cerebral palsy (CP)
- The Walking Easier (WE) study (St. Olavs Hospital)
- Animal research
- Clinical long-term follow-up and imaging of the brain
- Neonatal medical research
