Department of Laboratory Medicine, Children's and Women's Health (LBK)

The Department of Laboratory Medicine, Children's and Women's Health (LBK) consists of around 130 employees, scientific and technical/administrative staff. We are organised into four units:

The Department focuses on both clinical and laboratory subjects, which gives us uniqe opportunities for fundamental laboratory research. This advantage is reflected in the Department's wide knowledge and usage of laboratory techniques, as well as in its research in foetal medicine, clinical epidemiology, population based studies and biobanks.
