Gynecolgy
The research profile of the gynecology group is closely tied to clinical practice and highly interdisciplinary, with links to obstetrics, pediatrics, endocrinology, epidemiology, and basic science. It covers three main areas
- gynecological cancer, including cancer of the uterine cervix, endometrium and ovaries
- general gynecology, including menopause, endometriosis, and the polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
- assisted reproduction, including assisted reproduction in women with the polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and epidemiological studies of children born after assisted reproduction
The group has close ties to Trondheim University Hospital.
