Here is the call for MedIm travel and research 2012

The distribution of the Bridging funds from the Research School was unanimously decided by the Board on its meeting on 19 April 2010. Altogehter 14 applications were received within the deadline. Among these, five were submitted by candidates who had their final exams prior to autumn 2009. As recent graduates were explicitly given priority in the grant announcement, these were excluded from further evaluation. Among the remaining 9, two application were found to be of inadequate quality or relevance. From the remaining applications, five were selected, representing - in random order - the following projects:

On the role of the human amygdala. Mapping interactions and functions using fMRI.
Supervisor: Professor Ole A. Andreassen, Senior Researcher Jimmy Jensen. The TOP-project, Oslo University Hospital and Institute for Psychiatry, University of Oslo

Assessing spread of myocardial dysfunction in the failing murine heart using phase constrast magnetic resonance imaging.
Supervisors: Professor Ivar Sjaastad, Senior Engineer Lili Zhang, both at the Institute for Experimental Medical Research, Oslo University Hospital.

Quantitative assessment of kidney function using dynamic contrast enhanced MRI – a trans-disciplinary project.
Supervisor: Professor Antonella Zanna Munthe-Kaas, Department of Mathematics, University of Bergen.

Targeted multifunctional nanoparticles as molecular magnetic resonance imaging contrast agents and vehicles of therapeutic agents.
Supervisor: Professor Catharina de Lange Davies, Department of Physics, NTNU

Longitudinal study of the effect of traumatic brain injury on brain structure using fully automated quantification of regional brain volumes.
Supervisor: Associate Professor Asta Håberg, Department of Neuroscience, NTNU.
