Offer to supervisors and university teachers

The Norwegian Research School in Medical Imaging supports efforts to promote nationwide accessibility of PhD courses. We encourage a multidisciplinary approach , as well as the strengthening of international contacts in research training. The overall aim is to promote quality of teaching and research.

The Research School is a consortium of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), the University of Bergen, the University of Oslo, and the University of Tromsø.

We provide funding towards the reorganization of PhD courses to make these accessible for participants nationwide, in particular by compressing teaching into compact periods of time. The Research School promotes participation at these courses by covering the PhD-candidates' travel expenses .

We provide grants for the invitation of international guest lecturers.

We welcome all applications for support towards improving the research training in medical imaging. Normally, grants are in the range of NOK 20-60 000.
