NTNU NanoLab's cleanroom
NTNU NanoLab's new cleanroom is one of 4 cleanrooms withing "The Norwegian Micro- and Nanofabrication Facility", NorFab. The facility is open for students and scientists at NTNU and SINTEF, as well as external researchers.
NTNU NanoLab has 700 m2 cleanroom facilities with cleanliness ranging from class 10.000 to class 100. The laboratory has vibration reduced zones at VCE-level. The cleanroom is also build according to GMO II, laboratoryclass 2 requirements.
The cleanroom is organized in zones dedicated for:
chemical methods
physical methods
bionanotechnological methods
characterization
education
The infrastructure is run by a staff of 5 engineers and operated according to hands-on principles.
