Pattern formation in complex materials
Labyrinths, stick-slip bubbles and "corals" are but a few of the self-organized structures that emerge in complex fluid flows. Our research aims to uncover the physical mechanisms at play, and generate knowledge of consequence for new industrial processes such as CO2 sequestration.
