International Researcher Support

International researchers are an important part of NTNU's academic community. Our goal is to give new researchers the information they need to make moving to NTNU as easy as possible.

Whether you've just started in a permanent position or are a visiting researcher here for just a few months or a year, we're here to help with all the practical details of moving to NTNU. Your first stop should be your faculty or department, where your contact person should be able to help you answer many of the small detailed questions that always crop up when you move.

There's also a great deal of information available on a webpage posted by the Research Council of Norway, which contains articles of interest to researchers who are considering moving to Norway, or who have just moved to Norway. Here you'll find everything from pension planning to accomodating dual career couples. But if you need help beyond what you find in these pages, or what your faculty and department can provide, contact us.
