Studying German gives you access to a rich and exciting linguistic and cultural arena covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Studying a foreign language and a different culture will enable you to reflect on your own language and culture in new ways.
The one-year programme in German are comprised of studies of language, literature, and culture, with particular emphasis placed on the comparative aspect with the Norwegian context (language and culture). When studying German, you will learn to develop and communicate knowledge within these areas and to speak and write German at a high level.
The teaching is primarily conducted in German.
