Mathematical Sciences (bmat)
People with insight into mathematical subjects are in demand in fields ranging from the oil industry, public administration, computing and communications technology to medical statistics, finance and insurance. Some graduates in mathematics and statistics become secondary school teachers. There is a great shortage of teachers with expertise in the sciences. After completing the bachelor's programme, depending on the sub-discipline you have chosen, you can continue with the two-year master's programme in mathematics, statistics, biology, or management of natural resources.
