About the course

Course content

The course will address the contents and administrative structure of master planning . Master planning after the norwegian planning law, planning method and the topics of master planning.

Learning outcome

The course is to provide the students with knowledge and an introduction to central issues as well as the legal basis of master planning. The students will be able to draw up sustainable plans for different situations in an urban area.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures, exercises, seminars. The exercise counts 50% towards the final grade in the course. Both exercise and examen must be passed to pass the course.
