Course content
Business management in a strategic context. Introduction to financial relationships/understanding. Financial accounting and legal rules for good accounting practices. Construction of profit and loss accounting and the balance sheet. Analyses of profitability, liquidity and financial situation. Symptoms of internal and external crisis and what the company can do to improve the financial state of affairs. Teaching modules and activities.
Learning outcome
The course aims at giving an introduction to the use of financial accounting in Business Management. Fundamental legal issues are business management in a strategic context for the company.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and exercises. Postponed written exams (repeat exams) may be replaced by oral exams.
