About the course
Course content
The topics will give knowledge, methods and ability of developping sustainable conceptual urban design proposals as well as urban planning strategies. Methods for various analysis of urban settings and landscapes are a part of the topic - by that methods for interpretation of places, suitability analysis, landscape ecology and more. In addition there will be focused on formal processes of planning. Space, form and functions as well as representation technics are of importance.
Learning outcome
Give basic knowledge and ability in urban and physical planning. Give basic knowledge about landscape, build environment, and urban reality. Emphasise on urban design qualities and show how these can be a part of a more overall masterplan
Learning methods and activities
Lectures, litterature, workshops, teaching, group work, single work.
Excersises and exam musst be passed to pass the whole subject.

Arkitektur (SAA1)
Arkitektur - masterstudium (5-årig) (MAAR)
Required previous knowledge
The students must sucessfully have endet Architecture 1,2,3 and 4 or similar
