About the course
Course content
The course is a project in urban and regional planning. The project will be selected from questions in research and developmental work within the disciplines of the department in consultation with the responsible teacher. The project shall be taken togehter with a course with self selected content.
Learning outcome
The student shall learn to concentrate on a specific topic with the help of scientifical methods as literature studies and different investigation techniques. Furthermore the students shall learn project work including project planning, reporting at milestones and preparing the project report according to specific standards.
Learning methods and activities
Individual project work with supervisor. Lessons will be given in English if some international students follow the course.
Recommended previous knowledge
The course/specialization project requires knowledge about urban and regional planning from one of these courses AAR4215 Local planning, AAR4220 Master planning, AAR4225 Coordinated land use and transportation planning and AAR4845 Landscape planning and GIS.
Required previous knowledge
Registration deadline: 15. may.
Course materials
The material in this course is subject to the selected project and will be presented at the beginning of the semester.
