About the course
Course content
The content of the course is related to the development of modern housing mainly in Europe, as well as theoretical perspectives on housing cultures. Premises for modern housing production and the strategic role of housing in societal development will be discussed.
Learning outcome
The objective is to develop an understanding for the relationship between political and cultural conditions and the production of housing as well as an understanding of the role of housing in societal development.
Learning methods and activities
The course will be conducted as a series of lectures and seminars with related litteratur studies. One paper with a topic related to the course content to be written at the end of the semester.
