About the course
Course content
The course will give the students an overview of the geographical, social and economic conditions in Africa South of the Sahara. Emphasis will be on acquirement of broad and principal knowledge about the African continent. A chosen number of current issues will be shed light upon through a focus on specific countries or areas.
Learning outcome
To give students a basic knowledge of Africa South of the Sahara.

Lectures/seminars including written exercises (up to 24 hours of teaching).
4-hour written exam.
