About the course
Course content
The course will be concerned with algae and zoo-plankton used as food for the early stages of marine fish larva. Emphasis is given to the physiology and growth kinetics of species, and also to cultivating techniques (production) of species. The course includes practical exercises in large scale growing of algae and zoo-plankton.
Learning outcome
On completion of the course the students should be familiar with the physiology, growth kinetics, and cultivating techniques of algae and zoo-plankton used as food for the early stages of marine fish larva.

Lectures: 24 hours
Laboratory course: 30 hours, mandatory
