Course content

This course is an introduction to Greco-Roman literature, studied in translation. The texts represent different genres and are studied in their historical context.

Learning outcome

Students should come away with a basic knowledge of the literature of Greco-Roman antiquity and its role in literary history.

Lectures and seminars, papers. Written examination.
