Course content

Achieve further knowledge of a chosen topic, with emphasis on research methods and theoretical issues specific for the period or topic, and how these legitimize choice of empirical data and methods.

Learning outcome

Achieve further knowledge on a specific archaeological topic, and insights into how current and previous research has been conducted as regards empirical data, perspectives and methods. The course provides the student with a "toolbox" for work with the master thesis.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures where common and general aspects are given attention.
The exam consist of a written assignment of maximum 6000 words.
