About the course
Course content
This course covers anatomy at both macro and micro level, focusing on skeleton, joints and muscles. An introduction in anthropometry is included. The perspective is the support and movement function of the movement apparatus. The exercises and group work contain practical activities, demonstrations, and exercises in anatomy focusing on movement analysis.
Learning outcome
The aim of the subject is for students to acquire fundamental knowledge in anatomy of the movement apparatus and skeletal muscle function.
Learning methods and activities
48 hours lectures/exercises/group work. The course is reserved for students admitted to the major in Human Movement and Sports Science. Exchange students interested in the course must consult the Department for possible admission
Compulsory assignments
- 70% participation in exercises.
