About the course

Course content

This subject is a specialisation in a self chosen topic in one of the central fields of human movement science, e.g., motor behaviour, exercise physiology, biomechanics, neuromuscular control, or physical activity and health. Students shall write a literature review of 3000-4000 words, for which the topic and research question is chosen in collaboration with a supervisor. The work will be done under the guidance of a supervisor who is assigned by the Programme. Possible topics, deadlines for submission of the application of the topic, and assignment of supervisors are announced by the Programme.

Learning outcome

Students will acquire theoretical knowledge and background information that is essential for planning and carrying out the master project.

Learning methods and activities

Up to 8 hours supervision. The course is reserved for students admitted to the master program in human movement science.

Compulsory assignments

  • Approved supervision.

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Bevegelsesvitenskap (MBEV)

Required previous knowledge

Admission to master’s degree in human movement science.
