About the course
Course content
The course includes community ecology, ecosystem and landscape ecology. The distribution, structure and organisation of biological communities will be covered. Important ecological processes like competition, mutualism, herbivorism, predation, disturbance and succession will be discussed. The course also gives an introduction to conservation biology.
Learning outcome
On completion of the course the students should be familiar with important topics in community ecology, ecosystem and landscape ecology.
