About the course
Course content
The course provides an introduction to natural, chemical processes in water. Subjects covered also include descriptive physical oceanography of fjords- and coastal waters (physical processes, measuring techniques and interpretation of physical data). Through practice the students will get familiar with examination of environmental conditions with the purpose of locating- and also estimating dimensions of sea farms. Parts of the lectures are common with KJ 2070.
Learning outcome
On completion of the course the students should be familiar with natural, chemical processes in water, and also with descriptive physical oceanography in fjords- and coastal waters. The students should also be able to examine environmental conditions, with the purpose of locating- and estimating dimensions of sea farms.
