About the course

Course content

The students shall choose (and follow) the teaching in one of the following subjects (teacher in Parentheses): Respiration a and thermoregulation (Claus Bech and Randi Eidsmo Reinertsen), Osmoregulation (N.N.), Neurophysiology (Tor Jørgen Almaas and Hanna Mustaparta), Aquatic physiology (Kjell Nilssen), Environmental physiology (N.N.) , Exercise physiology (Randi Eidsmo Reinertsen) or Plant physiology (Richard Strimbeck). The teaching will be organized as intensive seminars. Students should take contact with the appropriate teacher(s) for the chosen subject in order to get information about the detailed teaching schedules.

Learning outcome

At the end of the course the students shall have achieved detailed knowledge about recent research developments within the chosen subject.

Learning methods and activities

There will be an oral examination at the end of the semester of teaching or at the final examination for the master degree. Lectures/seminars: 30 hours, compulsory. The content of the course has to be approved by the department.
