About the course

Course content

The course runs every second year, next time 2010, intensivly in September.
The course will be concerned with analysis of insect-plant interactions in a chemical ecological- and evolutionary perspective. Particular emphasis is put on herbivores and pollination. Physiological-, ethological-, ecological- and evolutionary mechanisms of basic importance for insect-plant interactions will be discussed and considered.

Learning outcome

On completion of the course the students should be familiar with insect-plant interactions in a chemical ecological- and evolutionary perspective. Students should also have knowledge of physiological-, ethological-, ecological- and evolutionary mechanisms of basic importance for insect-plant interactions.

Learning methods and activities

Group work/seminar: 40 hours, mandatory
