About the course

Course content

Create a basis for development of independent artistic projects, practically, artistically and conceptually. Further understandig of critical practice and important discussions in contemporary art and culture.

Learning outcome

Continuation of independent artistic work.
The student develops a basis for artistic integrity and professionalism.

Learning methods and activities

Independent studio work, supported by teachers of the school and guests. Lectures, artists' talks seminars, workshops, courses and masterseminars with themes derived from students' needs. Possibility of self-programmed study-trip. Compulsory participation in "Open Academy" with group tutorial.

Compulsory assignments

  • Participation in "Open Academy" with a plenum discussion
  • Writing seminar MFA and a theory segment

Required previous knowledge

Bachelor of Fine Art or documented equivalent artistic level
