About the course

Course content

1. Basic knowledge on the history of photography with emphasis on the develops within architectural photography and photography from urban space (20%).
2. Understanding of theoretical and philosophical connections between architecture and photography (10%).
3. Develop understanding for contemporary joint practice and cross-fertilization between architecture and photography (10%).
4. Develop a critical framework for understanding and evaluating architectural photography (10%).

Learning outcome

The student is to obtain basic knowledge of self-initiated work within architectural photography, from studio photography of architectural models, through interior and exterior photography and photography of urban space.
Colour and black/white (50%).
