About the course

Course content

The course runs every second year in the autumn semester (2011, 2013)
The course comprises the theoretical foundation on an advanced level within ecology, especially plant ecology and should deepen the knowledge in ecology above the MSc level. It should be a common course for PhD-students in ecology and what parts are discussed depends on the present staff, but could include evolutionary biology, population biology, biodiversity, plant-animal interactions and community/ecostem and landscape ecology.

Learning outcome

On completion of the course the students should be familiar with the theoretical foundation on an advanced level within ecology, especially plant ecology.

Seminar:50 hours, mandatory
