About the course
Course content
The students define, collect and organise a material. This will occur through a search for literature, fieldwork, and a work period at (or a study of) a dance institution. They select a reading material which can supply theory and methods for discussions of their source material and write a report on their project.
Learning outcome
The course gives the students training in developing projects by applying theory and methodologies from written sources to a selected written or empirical material.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and/or supervision in groups.
Plan for the project with reading list must be delivered and approved by 1 September (autumn) and 1 February (spring)

Recommended previous knowledge
A Bachelor's degree or corresponding education with a specialisation in Dance Studies.
