About the course
Course content
The course gives a specialised introduction to a chosen topic from ethnochorelogical and anthropological dance research. Theory and methods are focussed. The course will base itself upon discussing materials and projects from different cultures around the world. The students write an essay on a given topic.
Learning outcome
The students will be given focussed insights into a chosen field of dance research, acquiring specialised theoretical and methodological approaches.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures, seminars, practical excersises. The course is given as an intensive program. In order to take the exam the
students are required to attend a minimum of 75%
of the lectures.

Recommended previous knowledge
Bachelor's degree with a specialisation (major) in Dance Studies.
