Course content

The purpose of this course is to offer a critical introduction to the social and political structures of one or more English-speaking countries. The course will provide an overview of topics such as population and minorities, political and government structures and issues, presented in a historical context.

The course provides a general introduction to English-speaking culture(s) and a societal context for studies in English literature and language.

Lectures, group sessions, and supervision.
