About the course
Course content
An academic work of approximately 15.000 words / 40 pages (1.5 line spacing)on a linguistic or literary topic, a topic in cultural studies or an interdisciplinary topic. One may chose a didactical approach to the topic. The thesis must be written in English.
Learning outcome
The student should be able to treat a specialized topic within the chosen discipline in an academic way, and present the results in English.
Learning methods and activities
Individual supervision. The grade given on the thesis may be adjusted after the oral exam (15-20 min).
Specific conditions
Admission to a programme of study is required:
Lektorutdanning i språkfag (MLSPRÅK)
Required previous knowledge
Requires admission to the five-year teaching education programme with an integrated master's degree in English.
